Comprehensive Cardiovascular Consultation Services
Hypertension Heart Failure Coronary Artery Disease
Heart Valve Diseases Heart Rhythm Abnormalities
With our specialized knowledge of cardiovascular disease, we will work with the patient and their loved ones to craft an individualized treatment plan including referrals as needed for structural heart interventions such as transfemoral aortic valve replacement, minimally invasive treatment for leaky mitral valves, alternatives to long-term blood thinner therapy such as left atrial appendage occlusion devices, etc.
Cardiac testing services
Cardiac DiagnosticsElectrocardiogram (EKG) 2D Echocardiogram Transesophageal Echocardiogram Treadmill Stress Testing Pharmacological Stress Testing with Nuclear Imaging Stress echocardiography Coronary CT angiography Heart rhythm evaluation studies including 2 day to 30-day heart monitors Follow-up monitoring of pacemaker and cardiac defibrillator devices
Invasive Diagnostic StudiesCardiac Catheterization, with appropriate interventional referrals as needed. Appropriate referrals for advanced imaging studies such as cardiac MRI studies Implantation of Permanent Pacemakers. Implantation of cardiac defibrillators. Implantation of cardiac loop recorders. (heart monitor device with 3year battery life). Implantation of biventricular devices utilized to manage advanced heart failure patients.

VENOUS DISEASE
Diagnosis and management of venous insufficiency including treatments such as:
Venous Ultrasound Imaging including Venous Reflux Studies Individualized Compression Therapy Recommendations Endovenous Laser Ablation Endovenous Radiofrequency Ablation. VencloseTM RF Ablation System Varithena Injections
Varithena Microfoam Sclerotherapy Ablation Treatment for Varicose Veins. Cosmetic Sclerotherapy treatments for Spider Veins and Reticular Veins Management of Deep Vein Thrombosis. Management of Venous Ulcers which comprise the majority of Lower Extremity Ulcers.

PERIPHERAL ARTERIAL DISEASE
Comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and medical and invasive management of peripheral arterial disease.
Detailed clinical consultation for patients with symptomatic and asymptomatic peripheral arterial disease, lower extremity pain at rest or with ambulation or non-healing leg ulcers, critical limb ischemia. Endovascular evaluation and management of peripheral arterial disease utilizing innovative, minimally invasive techniques such as ultrasound-guided pedal access to diagnose and treat PAD, advanced imaging techniques including intravascular ultrasound to more accurately diagnose peripheral artery disease and determine the nature of the blockage in order to utilize appropriate treatment modalities to offer the best outcomes to the patient.
Imaging Studies
Ankle-Brachial Index Studies to diagnose Peripheral Arterial Disease Exercise Ankle-Brachial Index Studies Segmental Pulse Volume Recording Studies Lower Extremity Arterial Ultrasounds and Aortoiliac Studies Abdominal Aorta Ultrasound for diagnosis and assessment of AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm)
Invasive Evaluation and Treatment of Peripheral Arterial Disease
Angiography. Intravascular ultrasound evaluation (IVUS) which is a minimally invasive, high-quality, painless method to more accurately characterize the presence, nature (for example acute clot versus chronic calcified plaque),extent and severity of artery blockages. With this technology, we are able to minimize the use of contrast dye or x-rays. At the same time, the accuracy of the imaging technology allows us to differentiate between patients who can be safely managed with medication and does not need significant intervention from patients with more severe disease who would benefit from interventional techniques or even bypass surgery. Comprehensive medical management of peripheral arterial disease including antiplatelet therapy, newer antithrombotic medications, high intensity cholesterol-lowering treatments including PCSK9 inhibitors, Leqvio, high intensity statin treatments, as well as individualized recommendations for non-statin medications including Nexletol and ezetimibe.
Angioplasty treatments including: balloon angioplasty and more recent, research backed angioplasty techniques such as:
Cutting Balloon Angioplasty Techniques. Drug-Coated Balloon Angioplasty(DCB). Non Surgical Vascular Plaque Removal (atherectomy) in selected cases with several modalities available performed at our outpatient procedure suite. Vascular Stent Placement as needed on a case to case basis. Vascular Clot Removal (Thrombectomy) in selected cases.
Comprehensive Postprocedural Care including routine clinical evaluations, research backed medication protocols and guideline directed surveillance imaging studies.
